It seems I can’t get enough of the contrast between the leaves’ green and the sky’s blue. I could drink it in indefinitely.
Like the contrasts in the rest of life, contrasts in nature add depth and beauty. They keep us looking forward. What will the road ahead bring?
Will there be a straight path? Light and lacy shadows?
Sometimes the moon winks at us through the day, reminding us that night and rest will come.
There is death, but light shines through, nurturing life.
Spring follows the cold winter and soon comes summer’s heat.
I breathe in gratitude for the contrasts and exhale peace.
